Caring for Heirloom Knits
Cold water, flat drying, and a rest between wears — the simple ritual of knit care.
Wool wants cold water, a gentle soap, and a flat surface to dry on. Fold knits rather than hanging them, rest them a day between wears, and de-pill with a comb instead of a razor.
Treat an heirloom knit this way and it will outlast its receipts, its trends, and quite possibly its first owner.
