Hands before machines
Every garment starts on a wooden loom or in a knitter's lap. The human wobble in the weave is not a flaw — it is the signature.
Hand-loomed antiques · Free mending for life · New throws weekly
Our roots · Since 2014
Woven is your local shop for true finds and crafted mementos — heirloom clothing with antique soul, made slowly and mended for life.
Woven Whimsy began in 2014 as a family-run stall selling rehomed knits and mill ends. Travellers asked for the stories behind the cloth — who wove it, what the pattern meant, how to keep it for decades — and a shop grew around those conversations.
Today our loft houses forty wooden shuttles, three generations of dye notebooks, and a wall of weave blogs archived like museum pieces. We help travellers connect with regional craft by sharing stories, skills, and garments that highlight the heart of our home.

Open-loom Saturdays
Visitors are welcome every Saturday: watch a throw leave the loom, try a pick or two, and leave with yarn under your nails. Private fittings and group workshops run through the week — just ask.
